Jeongin Sung is an illustrator who was born in South Korea. He graduated from Emily Carr University of Art + Design with an illustration major. His work focus on creating both conceptual landscape illustration and character design, and the theme that he mostly used for work is fantasy and science-fiction that closely associates with his interest in video games. His biggest source of inspiration and reference comes from reading, playing, and watching every content of video games and its culture which is why he is so passionate to participate in the field of the video game industry as a concept artist.

Sakura is an illustrator based in rainy Vancouver, BC. She specializes in digital-image making, but also enjoys experimenting with different mediums, recently working with gouache paints. Sakura’s work at a glance is mostly of food illustrations, but she is curious to explore topics about astrology and dreams. Her personal style is colourful, cute, and fun, and hopes to put a smile on people’s faces through her light-hearted artworks. When she’s not drawing, you can find her at a cafe sipping on some tea and munching on desserts, or on the court playing volleyball. Or perhaps around the neighbourhood walking around and looking for inspiration for her next project.

Sho Ritco is an illustrator residing in so-called 'Vancouver', B.C. They are interested in designing backgrounds, characters, comics and painting graphic abstractions. They often  incorporate poetry into their works and stories. Sho uses prose to engage their cultural, gender and neurodivergent identities, seeking to queer the Memoir by telling stories reflected through multiple lens- from socio-economic to spiritual. Sho sees their work as resembling a hearty stew more than art itself. When not slaving away for Capitalism, they can be found eating toast with honey or picking dandruff flakes out of their hair.

Cassandra Carlos is a Vancouver-based illustrator who focuses on visual development and background art. She is heavily influenced by sakuga animation, experimental music videos, streetwear fashion and open world games. Through the use of bold colours and sharp design, Cassandra depicts the relationship between the supernatural and the ordinary in her work. She aims to build vibrant worlds that capture imaginations with their potential for exploration and storytelling. ZhengJi Zhang was born in Shijiazhuang China and as an international student came to Canada to seek more knowledge from different perspectives. He is also called Sky as a nickname, which represents sky high creativity and freedom. He does art in many mediums, such as acrylic, ink, and even some photography. He’d love to have a dog but still don’t have a chance and that time to spend with it. He loves to document his own stories and experience whether traveling or daily life.

Alexander Starzomczyk is an artist from Vancouver, Canada. His whole life he has loved stories in all types of forms, comics, movies, books. This love for stories is what influences his practice as an illustrator, many of his works focusing on narrative. He primarily works in a comic format, but also does single illustrations from time to time. Many of his works are connected by forests, lanterns, and cuckoo clocks. In between drawings, he can be found reading a book, listening to music, playing games, or watching a mystery/thriller show.

Christopher Ashdown is an Ontario/ Quebec raised illustrator now based in Vancouver BC. Mainly working in pencil crayon and watercolour, he world-builds with fantasy and sci-fi illustrations and also dives into life drawing. Following a personal set of artistic rules, he explores all kinds of mediums and materials, themes and techniques. Throughout his journeys at Emily Carr University, he’s learned to grow proud of his improvement and feel confident in his skills. When Chris isn’t drawing, he’s either gaming or exploring the city… while finding killer places to take a nap.

Alexis grew up in, “the land of living skies,” - their home in the prairies before moving west to create and experiment at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. They are an Illustrator and Printmaker with a fascination for the natural world; often creating work that explores the idea of time, emotion, and memory through mark making and colour. Outside of the print studio you can find her on scenic walks in nature, running trails, or sitting in a nearby cafe sipping tea while reading a new book.

Shuya Zhong (Savanna) is a painter. She was born in Guangdong, China and came to Vancouver alone at the age of 15. She started learning traditional Chinese ink painting when she was 9. She is good at working with traditional art materials such as acrylic and watercolor. She also has a strong interest in fashion design at the same time. She is keen to study some design knowledge while she paints. During her spare time, she actively participates in flat and vertical tailoring courses. N.Droz is a Polish-Canadian Illustrator who creates digital art which is decorative like a stained glass window, also at times painterly and orchestral. Growing up with an interest in anime and comics, their style has subtle remains of that obsession, but still has the fundamentals of art applied to this stylization. They are interested in work for promotional art,  advertisement, poster work, and publishing. When they are not creating art, you can find them gaming, studying for fun, watching vtubers, or touching grass with their dog.
