Whenever we have contributed to the strategic plan, or to external reviews in the past, a lot of dialogue takes place that seems to dissipate into the ether. 

How can we witness the effects of the work we've done? How can we convert all this navel-gazing into outcomes and communicate those outcomes to the contributors?

August all-univ meeting can present initiatives being implemented as the outcome of work done on the strategic plan. A chance for an annual review can keep the material fresh in our minds and allow us to connect with the big picture.
