3rd Year Film Project File Submission
- File type and due date are determined by your instructor.
- If you are submitting an Apple Prores 422 file, please follow these guidelines.
- Navigate to the correct folder for your class. For example, if you are in Lorelei's class and you need to submit your film, click on 2DAN_3rd_Year > 2DAN_3rd_Year_Lorelei > Films_Lorelei and place your file into that folder.
- Make a folder for your file(s) named "lastname_first initial". Chris Strickler's folder would be named "strickler_c".
- Make sure you are logged in with your Emily Carr M365 account. Non-ECU OneDrive accounts will not be able to use this link.
Submit Your Files Here
- Important Notes:
- Full films be must be labeled “last-name_first-initial_film_Film_Title.mov”
- Jane Doe's film titled "My Movie" would be named: doe_j_film_My_Movie.mov
- Please do not zip your files; Apple Prores is already a compressed (and visually perfect) format. Additional compression yields very minor file size reduction.
- If you are replacing with a newer version, append a "v2" to the end of your file, like "strickler_c_film_BIRD_MILK_v2.mov". If you would like to confirm that we received your file, please email us at animtech@ecuad.ca.
- Please watch your film all the way through before submitting to catch any errors.
- Double check and watch your files and make sure they are correctly formatted, are the correct length, and do not have any visual artifacts.
- If you are in a group project and will only be submitting one set of files for yourself and your groupmate(s), please email animtech@ecuad.ca to let us know.
- Please follow the Technical Specifications for all video files, including trailers.
- Check your ECU email often, that is how the technicians will contact you if your file needs a correction.
