CSSC-103-F001-2026: Scriptwriting

Welcome Screenwriting, an introductory and practical course on how to write for Film and TV (short form). Through this module you will learn how to craft a story for the screen, from finding the right idea, to creating compelling characters, describing action, structure, formatting, loglines and pitching.

Each week, I will teach various elements of the Screenwriting Process and review and discuss professional ideas and writings as well as your own. The course will combine both a teaching and workshop environment where you will be able to voice your ideas and share feedback with one another.

Each week there will be a writing assignment that will bring you towards a final short film script by the end of the 10 weeks.
