CSSC-100-F001-2025: Creative Writing
Welcome Creative Writing, an introductory and practical workshop on the fundamentals of creative writing. Through this module you will explore various forms of creative writing from prose, poetry, fiction, non-fiction and screenwriting and examine how to build a story, create characters and find your voice. Each week, I will teach various elements of Creative Writing Practices, review and discuss professional ideas and writings as well as provide in class exercises. The course will combine both a teaching and workshop environment where you will be able to voice your ideas, share your work and provide constructive and positive feedback. Each week there will be a writing assignment that will help you to expand upon your creative ideas and explore how to implement them into other creative forms and practices.
