In this course, students will embark on a storytelling journey of physical expression, movement and non-verbal dialog through the optics of a Screendance filmmaker. As more film and media productions embrace this format the course explores the fascinating film production hybrid of the moving body for the screen. Through a series of lectures, screenings, analyses, discussions and exercises the students will work towards building a production package for a potential screendance short film.
