This course will explore how computational concepts such as sequence (order of events), iteration (looping), Boolean logic (comparisons), and others are already present in our everyday lives, and how these computational concepts may be applied to a creative practice in art or design, either with or without the use of a computer itself. These concepts will be experienced through in-class activities and discussions. Students will learn to program these concepts through simple exercises in Processing, and discuss how these computational concepts may be applied to an art work or art practice, either with or without the use of a computer itself.
