In this advanced course for Illustration Majors, students will transition from theoretical experimentation into professional practice. Students will interface with art directors, designers, illustrators and editors who will assist and encourage the development of professional quality work and creative vision. A sequence of assigned projects will be introduced and supervised by top industry professionals. Through these projects, students will gain valuable industry experience and they will explore the relationship between the professional production of images and wider questions of participation in the public sphere.
