Yusha Zheng

Yusha Zheng is a Chinese illustrator and visual artist currently based in Vancouver, BC. She is usually into representations that juxtapose the cute and the grotesque, the sweet and the dark. Her illustrations are often related to appearances in her dreams, nightmares, and her daily experiences of sleep paralysis. Yusha's works are also occasionally inspired by subjects relevant to her cultural background, including feminism and sex minorities in China. She mainly works digitally but also enjoys traditional mediums such as watercolour and acrylic. Apart from (or actually during) creating art, she is always listening to Disney music, watching Disney movies, and planning her next trip to Disney World.

Bronte Sobotka

Anqi Cheng

Anqi came to Canada from mainland China alone when she was 16. She survived in the brutal Montreal winter for years before making her best decision of moving to Vancouver, BC. 

Anqi is mainly interested in making goofy action comics, although she can’t help to create illustrations that touch on social issues once in a while. Anqi’s work intents to disturb you a little, but she would usually wrap the bitter subject matters into a rather playful presentation. She is stubborn about bringing those sweet marks from traditional drawings into her digital illustrations.

xiaohan Tang

Xiaohan Tang is a Chinese illustrator and is currently living in Vancouver. Xiaohan is interested in the background and concept art design. She loves all the anecdotes and integrates them into illustrations. She likes using the pen to show different cultures and social differences. Use interactions between characters to tell the story. Her goal has always been to explore stories and possibilities beyond the real world.

Hunter Skuce

Hunter Skuce is an artist who took 48 hours to be born. She still takes about 48 hours to do anything labour-intensive. Please allow her 48 hours to return your call, email, or pigeon. Thank you. 

Kit Liu

Kit Liu is an artist based in Vancouver, BC. Working primarily with copper etchings, linocuts, and watercolours, Kit’s practice is motivated by the dreamlike innocence of a nondescript time, the cheery warmth of childhood nostalgia, and lighthearted macabre. Born and raised by Mountain View Cemetery, much of her work is informed not only by death, but in its reflection of humanity and history.

Kit is also an avid fan of professional wrestling and combat sports, and enjoys running outdoors to very loud music.

Daryn Logan

D is an illustrator from BC, who makes art that vacillates between personal, introspective work, and lighthearted fantasy. When she’s not drawing, she’s likely deeply entrenched in a video game, or serenading her household with loud piano music.

Natasha Tatiana Sterling

Natasha Tatiana Sterling, despite her very Russian name, is in fact from the United States with Colombian heritage and grew up in Australia. With her multi-cultural background, Tasha has a passion for culture, identity and a general exploration of the unknown or fantastical. She adores drawing, creating and in general striving to make things that both myself and others can enjoy. In her downtime, Tasha likes to read, write, try out cooking new recipes and exploring. A walk through an unfamiliar place in the city is always the most exciting for her, though dancing through the night and socially dancing to a swing tempo is a close second. Despite all these fun activities, nothing is more comforting than going home, visiting her mother, father, dogs and enjoying a nice cup of tea with them all.
