I referenced Japanese slice of life movie posters and they are usually very empty and simple with the main characters shown on them.

My poster is for a slice of life movie based on my childhood friend who grew up in a family of traditional Japanese drummers. I lost contact with them and all I can imagine is this strong sense of summer
and festivals when I think about them as that is what we did most summers growing up.
