Looking for Emily Carr Student Volunteers Merging Media 2013! 
 
Don’t miss this 4th annual edition showcasing the best and brightest cross-media innovation, and be a part of discussions on the latest transmedia trends, business intelligence and creative strategies that are shaping the industry worldwide. The cream of the crop are converging at MM2013, Canada’s Premiere Cross-Media Event
 
Merging Media is looking for volunteers to fill a number of roles, some of these include; 
set up/strike, registration, stage hand, media attendant, B2B meeting attendant, i-Gallery host, speaker/VIP Host, runner/errands, tech/sound attendant, BIZ HUB host, hospitality coordinator, microphone runner, Granville Island guide and many other roles. 
In return for volunteering with us at Merging Media, you will be able to enter conference areas prior to, or after your scheduled shift, to participate in the main conference program.

 What date and shifts are you available? 
 
5th Nov - Morning or Afternoon 6th Nov – Morning or Afternoon 7th Nov – Morning or Afternoon 
 Role Preference? (requests appreciated and filled as best as possible) 
 
Stage/Theatre based role OR Communication/Customer Service role 
 Briefly tell us about yourself/work experience and your studies at Emily Carr. 
 
Volunteer Training & Orientation: 6pm, Monday 4th November (Venue TBA) 
Volunteer Dates: 5th, 6th, 7th November 
Shift Details: Morning or Afternoon shifts, 6-7 hours average 
Shifts can start from 6.30am/7.30am and finish latest at 9.30pm 
Location: Granville Island, Vancouver (Arts Club Granville Island Stage, Review Stage, Back Stage Lounge) 
 
If your shift is over a major meal time, you will be provided with a food and refreshments.
