BA (Honours) Animation at Middlesex University, London (UK)
Since the early 1980s students from Middlesex University have gone on to become some of the biggest names in the UK animation scene. Our alumni include Oscar nominated animation legend Joanna Quinn, Aardman Animation director Luis Cook and Peppa Pig creator Neville Astley. At Middlesex we passionately believe in the importance of formal and conceptual experimentation, which combined with a thorough exploration of the craft of animation, storytelling, film language and drawing helps our students to find their own vision and develop innovative approaches to animation. This programme of films showcases some of the best work produced at Middlesex University over the last three years.

Desde principios de la década de 1980 los estudiantes de la Universidad de Middlesex han llegado a convertirse en algunos de los grandes nombres de la escena de la animación del Reino Unido. Nuestros alumnos incluyen nominaciones a los Oscar, como la leyenda de la animación Joanna Quinn, Aardman Animation, el director Luis Cook y Neville Astley (creador de Peppa Pig). BA and Master in Animation at Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain)
In 1997 the Faculty of Fine Arts of the UPV started the animation program. Since then, numerous of national professionals, such as Grangel Studio, Pablo Llorens or El Señor Studio, and international directors, such as Gil Alkabetz, Priit Pärn, Vuk Jevremovic, Joanna Quinn and Juan Padrón, gave workshops and master classes at the UPV in Valencia. The launch of the Master in Animation at the University has consolidated an advanced study programme in animation at the Faculty of Fine Arts, encouraging its experimental spirit, by combining the use of traditional animation techniques and new media. This film program showcases a selection of the best work produced by students of the BA and MA in Animation at the UPV in the last four years.
Licenciatura y Máster en Animación de la Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain)
En1997 la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la UPV incluyó por primera vez la animación en la licenciatura en Bellas Artes, desde entonces numerosos profesores invitados nacionales, como Grangel Studio, Pablo Llorens, El Señor Studio, e internacionales como Gil Alkabetz, Priit Pärn, Vuk Jevremovic, Joanna Quinn o Juan Padrón, han impartido cursos en Valencia. La puesta en marcha del Máster en Animación de la UPV ha consolidado los estudios de animación en la Facultad de Bellas Artes, fomentando el espíritu experimental, que aúna el uso de técnicas tradicionales de animación y nuevos medios. Este programa de películas muestra una selección de los mejores trabajos producidos por los alumnos de la licenciatura y el máster en los últimos cuatros años.
BA Media Arts in Animation at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Vancouver (Canada)
Animation at Emily Carr University of Art + Design began in 1967, with close affiliation to the National Film Board of Canada. The legacy of animation filmmaking at ECUAD encourages personal narratives engaged with experimentation and critical thinking. Our notable alumni include Oscar nominees Wendy Tilby and Amanda Forbis, Emmy Award winner Lindsay Pollard, and Emmy Nominee Jeff Chiba Stearns. This film program features a selection of the best work produced by students of the Bachelors of Media Arts in Animation in the last three years.
