Marshall Fels Elliott is a storyboard artist at Atomic Cartoons, with prior experience at DHX Media, and Nerd Corps Entertainment. He graduated from ECUAD in 2008, and his short animated film After Hours (2008) screened at numerous international film festivals. Marshall's presentation is about storyboarding within the landscape of the Vancouver Animation TV Industry. His talk will illustrate the process of transforming a script into a final storyboard, as well as illuminate the experience of working as a storyboard artist. The presentation is open to all students, especially 3rd year animation majors who are embarking on the storyboarding phase of their senior animation projects.

BIO:

Marshall is a storyboard artist, writer, designer, and animator. His storyboard credits include the hit TV shows My Little Pony, Max Steel, Transformers: Rescue Bots, and Rocket Monkeys. Marshall has been making his own short films since elementary school, and over the years has screened and won at a variety of festivals. In 2010 his short film, After Hours, played at numerous film festivals across North America and Asia, including the World Expo in Shanghai and the Chicago International Children's Film Festival.
