My inspiration came from a time when I was addicted to drinking coffee. Coffee and milk tea are like my nourishment. I set out to create a fairy-like creature that grows in coffee.

For our groups prompt we chose "animal." I wanted my leave behind to be like a party invitation that you get in the mail. Mine depicts a dog inviting you to his party that you can come to on my website or instagram.

My group decided to create a piece that shared a fear of ours along with an insect of our choosing. For mine I decided to create a piece inspired by my fear of the dark, "achluophobia." Along with my discomfort of bugs, specifically moths.

The back of the card will be featuring letterpressed type when printed later this month. In its place please enjoy my hand lettering which includes, my contact information, group information and formatting of a postcard.

The piece itself will later be carved out and printed by hand, breaking down into a 7 layer linocut! I intend on using either 250gsm Stonehenge or BFK paper. Also included are the plans for the box that I'll be building to hold them.

Leave behinds will then be available upon request later this month! Just lemme know! :D

I'm in group noodles, and we decided to do a leave behind on insects and our phobias. The phobias I chose are Scoptophobia and Thanatophobia. Scoptophobia is a fear of being stared at, so I incorporated that into the design of my butterflies. Thanatophobia is the fear of death, and I chose to represent that within a skull. We were also limited to four colours, so I chose green and purple, with two different shades.

My group decided to create a piece that shared a fear of ours along with an insect of our choosing.

My fear and discomfort is snails and slugs "Molluscophobia"

Looking at reference images of snails in HD was really really gross and I want to make everyone feel gross and suffer along with me.

Drawing this piece did not change my opinion towards snails and slugs.
