ECUAD is a place of never-ending dialogue

...which is a good thing in that we are always reflecting on what we do. This seems like something which is at the very heart of our culture as an institution.

...which is a frustrating thing when it comes to evolving and decision making. Change and growth just take forever because we get caught in eternal dialogue loops where no one takes action. It goes on for years.

It strikes me that as individuals, we can cultivate a greater sense of institutional leadership as something that we each own. An individual who is not in a formal leadership role may not feel empowered to take action, or take a stand.

If we each take ownership of our own leadership, then our dialogue can be PRODUCTIVE, and THEN we can move, change and grow!
