Please write a 400‐500 word (double‐spaced) essay discussing why you would like to attend the Ottawa International Animation Festival from September 17-21, 2014.
• Tell us about your motivation to attend the festival, and what you hope to gain from the experience.
• How will attending the festival inform and influence your future creative work? How will it influence your career?
• Outline your participation in fundraising for this year’s scholarship.
• Include your email address and phone number where you can be reached.
The scholarship recipient will be notified via email by May 10th, 2014.
The scholarship will cover the festival pass, round-trip airfare, hotel and a per diem to cover food and transportation expenses.
The scholarship recipient will give a brief presentation on their experience of the festival during the 2014‐2015 academic year.
